2022年11月19日，以“数企合作和‘揭榜挂帅’的经验分享与问题讨论”为主题的圆桌会议在中国工业与应用数学学会（以下简称学会，英文缩写CSIAM）第二十届年会期间以线上方式顺利举行，来自各企业、高校、研究院的八十多位专家学者参加了会议。
学会理事长、北京大学党委常委、副校长张平文院士，学会副理事长、华为技术有限公司全球技术合作副总裁艾超，南京集成电路设计服务产业创新中心有限公司副总经理陈刚，重庆市科学技术局基础处副处长熊新，北京大学数学科学学院教授李铁军，香港中文大学（深圳）副校长、深圳市大数据研究院院长罗智泉院士、华东师范大学数学科学学院院长吕长虹教授、北京大学地球与空间科学学院教授、人工智能地球科学中心主任马坚伟出席会议并讲话。
出席圆桌会议的嘉宾还有：复旦大学高卫国教授 、阿里巴巴达摩院王孟昌博士、北京大学文再文教授、湖南师范大学副校长谢资清教授、东北师范大学徐英祥教授、重庆师范大学杨新民教授、武汉大学杨志坚教授、南方科技大学于明教授、中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院张晨松研究员，复旦大学张奇教授以及相关企事业单位、科研院所的专家代表等。复旦大学苏仰锋教授主持了本次会议。
张平文院士首先讲话。他代表学会首先感谢了与会专家对学会推动数企合作与“揭榜挂帅”工作的支持。他指出，要想让越来越多的企业真正能承担创新主体的责任，一方面要广泛的宣传；另一方面要有一些抓手，目前我们的抓手主要体现在：CSIAM数学促进企业创新发展论坛、“揭榜挂帅”项目、科研机构与企业建立联合实验室、全方位地总结应用数学怎么服务国家战略等。应用数学工作者要抓住发展机遇，融入到企业创新中，协助企业出“好题”，脚踏实地、一步一步向前走，贡献自己的一份力量。
艾超副总裁从华为公司近几年开展的创新探索工作中提出几点思考和建议。他认为，产业界要帮助数学家理解工程问题，问题的质量决定了成果的价值，要以数学语言来描述问题；由于基础理论研究的艰难性和结果不确定性，产业也需要有耐心和积极探索创新合作模式和合作机制；成功的产学研结合，需要数学家更加深入到应用场景；要多给年轻数学家机会，发现和培养优秀的数学人才；希望数学家多贡献思想，产业界也要为数学天才搭建自由探索的平台。关于“揭榜挂帅”工作，他建议在指南发布后增加统一的需求澄清环节，通过组织需求沟通专场会议等模式由出题企业专家讲解课题内容，帮助数学家们了解工程问题和约束条件，促进双方的思想碰撞，相互启发，更有效支持好针对产业面临的挑战乃至世界级难题的攻关解题。他表示，应用数学驱动企业创新是千行百业数字化未来的大势所趋，未来要让数企合作真正能开花结果，产生优秀的落地成果，离不开政产学研用协同创新，特别是政府机构及学会的引导与支持是必不可少的。企业需要重点关注和基于自身产业难题，与数学家共同提炼科学问题，作为学会和相关机构科学选题方向的候选来源，并通过专题研讨、科研合作以及竞赛、人才资助等灵活开放的模式持续开展相关研究探索以及成果的转化，从而促进应用数学在产业中的发展以及基础研究成果转化，并为社会经济、国家战略发展做出重要贡献。
过去的一年里，通过与相关高校院所进行深度合作，陈刚副总经理有几点感悟。他谈到，因为思考角度不同，数学家与企业家在面临各种建模问题时往往会有不同的解决方案，要进一步强化产学研的沟通；全方面的深入交流才能识别领域差异，要在对问题根本原因达成共识的前提下开展研究；由于数学问题更加面向实际产业需求，在加强基础理论研究的同时，也要促进多学科的交叉融合；数企合作要更多地考虑社会经济效益，要以此为前提，共同研发可以提高生产力和竞争力的产品。
重庆市科技局基础处熊新副处长从科技管理者的角度分享了重庆市实施“揭榜挂帅”项目以及促进数企合作、项目应用落地方面的做法和经验。她介绍，重庆按照目标导向、问题导向、结果导向的原则对“揭榜挂帅”项目做了新探索、新尝试。在榜单生成、项目立项、组织实施等方面，注重精准有效、高效灵活、突出需求方作用、加大多元投入，强化多部门/主体的协同联动。她表示，重庆市科学技术局将继续当好数企合作的“牵线搭桥”人，用好重庆国家应用数学中心，统筹协同市级相关部门继续加强数学中心的支持，将各类数学人才真正的聚在一起，促进数学与工程应用、产业化对接融通，助推企业提升核心竞争力。
作为“揭榜挂帅”项目的亲历者，李铁军教授谈到，组建揭榜团队时，有一个真正来自课题所属领域的专家是非常重要的，通过熟悉课题各方面的基本问题、组织内部研讨会等，能够获得新的想法与观点。但在课题研究过程中依旧有一些问题，如：受新冠疫情影响，专家之间的面对面沟通存在一定困难；横向课题式管理聚焦效果很好，但似乎与高校自由式科研有些矛盾。他希望能找到一种新的成果汇报模式。
罗智泉院士以自己为例，分享了与华为合作项目过程中的经验。他指出，应用数学工作者要深入了解工程问题，剖析凝练现有方法模式，了解痛点问题与现有数据；要成立“谷歌”军团，让领军科学家与研究工程师、一线工程师联合攻关，让数学与工程发生化学反应；分工协作，将大问题分解成一个个小问题，不断打磨迭代，实现关键技术攻关。他建议，数学界与企业合作，要找对题目与合作伙伴；学会工程语言、长期耕耘；做应用数学一定要落地，但同时又要证明基础定理，数学与应用一定要紧密结合，解决核心重大问题，凝练科学问题，证明一些定理、发展一些算法/理论，让他们应用到更多的场景中，这将是一个比较完美的举措。
吕长虹教授从归纳与归约的不同角度诠释了数学家的优势，以无线通讯中多维资源分配问题为例回答了数学战略优势。他表示，数学界与企业合作分为两种，一种是像华为公司一样可以将工程问题转化为数学问题的，一种是不能将实际问题转化为数学问题的，对于第一种情况，因为企业保密等原因，转化的数学问题可能一般化，数学家要与工程师多沟通，问题可能有特殊性，对于第二种情况，要花更多的精力与时间了解清楚应用场景，同时也要进一步提高中国工程师的数学素养。
马坚伟教授很感谢“揭榜挂帅”项目给自己提供了一个机会，也给应用数学人走进国家重大需求提供了新途径。他认为，数学与工程问题的鸿沟主要还是体现在学科问题上，要让数学界与企业界聊到一起、打成一片，多走进企业调研、与工科多交流；还要注意“揭榜挂帅”课题组的优势互补，尤其需要行业内人员；解决出题者与答题者之间面临的困难，需要产学研三方通力合作；对于交叉学科，要进一步加强管理与协调能力，建立沟通协作机制，进一步推动学科交叉融合，坚持是成功的唯一答案。
此外，还有其他的专家也积极参与了讨论，并提出一些建议：在合作沟通过程中，数学家要扩大边界，工程师也要尽量用数学思维来思考，让双方的边界重叠，才能将问题提炼的更准确；推动数学界与工业界真正的深度结合，要调动人的积极性，吸引更多的人投入到数学和应用研究中来；为使认可度更高，课题组揭榜时设置为双首席等等。讨论气氛十分热烈。
最后，张平文院士作了总结性讲话。他表示，企业要重视提升原创研究能力，做原创的产品。学会愿意做好服务工作，使数学与企业界的朋友无缝连接，也希望通过学会搭建的平台，数学家与更多的企业进行全方位的交流，将场景需求凝练为数学问题，走向世界一流，真正帮助企业成为创新主体，成为国家战略科技力量。

2022年11月19-20日，中国工业与应用数学学会（以下简称“学会”）第六届学生论坛在线上顺利召开，本次论坛由学会主办，学会教育工作委员会和青年工作委员会联合承办。学会理事长、北京大学副校长张平文院士，学会副理事长、浙江大学包刚教授，学会副理事长、清华大学黄忠亿教授，学会副理事长、西安交通大学孟德宇教授，学会秘书长、中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院张波研究员，学会副秘书长、北京应用物理与计算数学研究所盛志强研究员，学会副秘书长、上海交通大学应文俊教授，学会副秘书长、电子科技大学赵熙乐教授等出席了本次活动。来自全国多所高校及科研院所的140余位师生参加了本次论坛。
论坛开幕式由学会副理事长黄忠亿教授主持。学会理事长张平文院士和副理事长包刚教授分别致辞。张平文院士首先代表学会对参会师生致以问候与感谢。他表示，学生论坛提供了学生展示科研能力的平台，希望越来越多的学生能在这个平台展现自己，同时也能收获新的知识、新的思路。张平文院士在论坛上介绍了学会第一届青年人才托举项目，他指出，该项目能为事业初期的青年学者找到合适的导师、指出好的科研方向，帮助其尽快地成长，对青年科技人才培养具有重要意义。张平文院士最后指出，青年学生是学会和国家的未来，希望学会学生论坛在大家的努力下越办越好！包刚教授预祝论坛取得圆满成功，并指出学会的未来在于青年学生。希望学会学生论坛能在高度和广度方面给青年学生都打下基础，为大家提供更好的平台。
论坛邀请了学会第一届青年人才托举项目2位入选青年学者作开场报告，分别为：香港中文大学（深圳）王东教授的《The Iterative Convolution-Thresholding Method(ICTM) for interface related optimization problems》、吉林大学翟起龙教授的《The Weak Galerkin Method for Elliptic Eigenvalue Problems》。
本次论坛共有47位学生作报告，报告人介绍了他们最新研究成果，展开了广泛的学术交流和讨论。该论坛使参会人员更好地了解应用数学以及交叉学科的研究进展，同时开阔了相关领域青年学生的学术视野。

The Copper Mountain Conference on Multigrid Methods was founded in 1983 and is held every two years (odd years). It is widely regarded as one of the premier international conferences on multigrid methods. The 2023 meeting is organized in cooperation with SIAM.

The Mathematics Department at Morgan State University is excited to host the CBMS Conference: Deep Learning and Numerical PDEs, which will take place at Morgan State University from June 19 - June 24, 2023.
This conference will bring together a diverse group of researchers from PDE theory, scientific computing, and machine learning who work on both the theoretical and applied aspects of solving PDEs using neural networks. There will be a distinguished lecture series to be delivered by Prof. Jinchao Xu (KAUST and Penn State) and invited plenary talks from distinguished speakers in the one and half-day workshop. Our goal is to present a comprehensive introduction to the diverse set of research opportunities in machine learning for scientific computing. We are also aiming to create an inclusive environment geared toward exposing traditionally disadvantaged groups to this important new field of research. Information about important deadlines will be made available later this year.

主讲人简介： 董明，中国科学院力学研究所研究员。分别于2003年2008年在天津大学力学系获得学士和博士学位。毕业后留校任讲师、副教授，期间在伦敦帝国理工学院数学系做访问学者（2013-2014）和玛丽居里学者（2016-2018）。2021年起任中科院力学所研究员。研究方向为流体稳定性与湍流，主要涉及航空航天与惯性约束核聚变等领域的基础流体力学与应用数学研究。
