中国工业与应用数学学会(CSIAM)于2020年设立会士制度,用于表彰在工业与数学领域有卓越成就的CSIAM会员。具体请见《中国工业与应用数学学会会士条例》(附件1)。
2022年CSIAM会士提名程序现已启动
(一)会士候选人应具备下列资格:
1.在工业与应用数学领域做出突出成就及创新贡献,在国际上产生了广泛的学术影响或在工业领域得到重要应用,为CSIAM的建设与发展做出突出贡献的学会会员。
2.会士候选人在提名截止日一般具有至少有4年CSIAM连续会龄。2020年-2022年过渡期内须有2年的CSIAM连续会龄。
(二)会士评定采用提名制,会士候选人有两种提名方式产生:
1.学术组织提名。各省市工业与应用数学会、学会各专业委员会、学会团体会员单位每年可提名1人(附件2)。
2.个人提名。CSIAM会士和常务理事是有效的提名人,每位提名人每年作为提名人提名的会士候选人不得超过1人。每个会士候选人须得到2名有效提名人的提名(附件3)。
(三) 会士候选人填写《会士候选人材料》(附件4)。
(四)提名材料(候选人材料、推荐书)提交截止日期为2022年5月1日。

科学领域性别平等常务委员会(The Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science,以下简称SCGES)成立于2020年,是由9个国际科学组织(其中大部分为国际科学理事会正式成员)联合发起的独立委员会,目前SCGES的伙伴成员已达到18个。这些发起组织在国际科学理事会支持的项目“数学、计算和自然科学领域性别差距的全球解决方案:如何衡量,如何缩小?”中合作,该项目后来被称为“科学领域的性别差距”。SCGES希望通过支持妇女和女孩平等接受科学教育,提高女性在职业生涯中的平等机会和待遇,进一步促进科学领域的性别平等。
SCGES将于2022年开展系列网络研讨会,旨在推动不同学术组织之间建立与科学领域性别平等相关的交流和互动。
SCGES网络研讨会第一次会议将由国际数学联盟(International Mathematical Union)和国际工业与应用数学联合会(International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics)共同组织,聚焦数学界的性别平等问题。

报告人简介:Young Ju Lee is a Professor at Texas State University, Mathematics Department. He obtained his Ph.D degree at Penn State and had a prior faculty position at UCLA and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. His expertise is at the development of fast solver for partial differential equations. His current research focuses on development of structure preserving finite element discretization for PDE systems. His research has been funded by National Science Foundation and American Chemical Society. The current research is being funded by Korea Brain Pool program by National Research Foundation of Korea.

- 摘要
功率半导体器件主要用于电力设备的电能变换和电路控制,是进行电能(功率)处理的核心器件,是弱电控制与强电运行之间的桥梁。2020年,我国功率半导体消耗约占全球40%,但高端产品90%依赖进口。
功率半导体设计软件由国外公司垄断,限制了我国功率半导体的发展。硅基功率导体器件的物理模型可由对流扩散--泊松方程组来描述,是一组强耦合的非线性偏微分方程组。器件模拟需要高精度数值格式,尤其是可并行的大规模非线性方程组求解器的构造是最大的挑战。
本项目由清华大学能源互联网研究院直流研究中心支持发布。此中心是由清华大学副校长、国家杰出青年基金获得者、教育部长江学者特聘教授曾嵘教授于2015年创建,围绕直流输电关键器件、装备与系统开展前瞻性研究。团队规模约50人,包括国家杰出青年基金获得者1人,国家优秀青年基金获得者2人,国家海外青年高层次人才1人。
除直流中心外,本项目还有两个专业的计算数学专家团队参加:
(1)新加坡国立大学包维柱教授(美国数学会Fellow、国际数学家大会45分钟报告)及
(2)天津大学应用数学中心张勇教授(国家海外青年高层次人才)。
现面向计算数学、计算电磁学、计算力学等领域招聘博士后、全职工作人员,从事硅基功率半导体器件的数学建模、仿真算法研究和软件开发,以推动我国高端工业软件的自主化,促进功率半导体产业的发展。
岗位:博士后、算法开发人员
人数:2~5人,长期有效
岗位描述及要求:
(1)计算数学或相关专业博士,熟悉C或Fortran语言
(2)开展算法研究及代码开发
(3)工作地点:原则上在北京,也可访问新加坡/天津开展合作
待遇:
(1)按清华大学规定确定基本待遇。并根据工作情况发放津贴,一人一议。
(2)博士后:可协助申请国家或清华大学的“博士后支持计划”,入选者可额外获得两年共30~50万生活补助。
(3)博士后:根据清华大学规定申请博士后公寓,以及办理子女入托、入学。
(4)按北京市及清华大学规定享受公积金、保险及公费医疗。

The Department of Mathematics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong invites the application for one postdoc position in applied and computational mathematics, to work with Prof. Bangti Jin, in the following areas: inverse problems, numerical analysis and machine learning. Candidates must have obtained a PhD preceding the start date of appointment in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields, and have a strong background and track record of accomplishment in inverse problems, numerical analysis or machine learning. The review of applications will start on February 5, 2022, and will continue until the position is filled, but early application is strongly encouraged.
