2021年12月6日,中国工业与应用数学学会联合中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院、中国科学院国家数学与交叉科学中心、5G演进学术交流论坛、华为技术有限公司共同举办的“无线技术专题-无线通信中的若干数学问题研讨会”线上部分成功召开,超过2.5万人次在线上参与本次会议。
该研讨会是“ICT领域的数学基础研讨班”系列研讨会之一,本次面向无线专题,旨在促进数学与无线技术的进一步交叉融合,通过邀请华为公司的专家讲解当前的无线通信系统的现状和需要解决的问题,探讨如何从数学的角度来帮助解决这些挑战,共同推动无线通信技术向前发展。会议分为线上、线下两部分,本次会议为线上部分,为期一天,主要由华为技术有限公司无线领域的专家讲解无线相关技术面临的工程场景和挑战,以及可能对应的数学问题。
马志明院士首先致辞,他谈到,信息通信领域与数学有着密切的联系。香农在1948年奠定信息论基础的论文,本质上是一篇数学论文,题目是“A mathematical Theory of Communication”。我们现在正在大力推进的5G技术,其控制信道编码用到的Polar码,是用现代数学的鞅论证明了它可以达到香农容度的极限。目前各世界强国正在投入力量研发的6G技术,需要超越经典的香农信息论, 建立语义信息论体系和非线性信息理论,很需要数学家的参与。当前信息通信技术领域的许多工程难题,往往通过与数学工作者合作,可以获得突破性的研发进展。比如,华为公司在欧洲成功地推广单基站Single RAN技术,其核心的突破是创造性地用非线性数学多维空间逆函数解决了GSM多载波干扰问题,这是用数学理论解决工程难题的一个典型的成功范例。
马志明院士还回忆了“ICT领域的数学基础研讨班”的起源、举办历史和运行理念,希望学界与业界能在某些研究课题上有机会充分交流,真正地推动ICT领域与数学交叉融合的发展。
东南大学移动通信国家重点实验室主任、5G演进学术交流论坛首席科学家尤肖虎教授在发言中总结了当前无线通信技术的发展现状,畅想了未来6G技术下的生活愿景,并表示,未来的通信技术的发展存在很多的难题,希望数学能够在解决这些问题上发挥重要的作用,包括但不限于从理论上给出上下界,系统优化,存在性证明,方法论指导等。
华为公司全球技术合作副总裁艾超和华为公司无线网络技术规划部部长周欣在讲话中分别表达了华为公司希望通过组织各类出题解题的活动,为数学家与华为的技术专家创造充分交流与互动的机会,让数学家深入了解工业界面临的真实问题与挑战,包括如何突破香农极限等世界级难题,共同把无线通信的工程问题抽象成数学问题,实现“工程问题数学化”,从而进一步共同定义“正确的大问题”,开展深入合作,在数学理论和工具的帮助下,共同推动应用数学成果落地和ICT产业向前发展。
会议开幕式由学会副理事长闫桂英研究员主持。接下来,来自华为公司海内外不同研发部门的多位专家就相关问题作了报告。报告结束后,与会专家展开了热烈讨论。
最后,学会副理事长、华为公司全球技术合作副总裁艾超总结致辞,研讨会线上部分圆满结束。
据悉,研讨会线下部分暂定于2021年12月25日在上海举行,届时将由华为专家深入讲解线上会议所提到的工程、数学问题,求解目标,并将与专家讨论可行的解决方案;对于有潜力的解决方案,将在后续形成进一步支持的合作科研项目。

学会信息与通讯技术领域的数学专业委员会(筹)供稿
- 摘要
2021年12月4日至5日,由国家天元数学西北中心主办、宁夏大学数学统计学院承办的“新一代智能最优化方法及其在智慧黄河中的应用”以线上、线下相结合的方式成功举办。论坛邀请了来自复旦大学、西安交通大学、哈尔滨工业大学、宁夏医科大学、北方民族大学、井冈山大学、宁夏师范学院、宁夏数学会、宁夏电子学会、宁夏水利厅,宁夏水利科学研究院等近20所高校及政府部门的百余位专家和研究生参会,研讨智能最优化方法前沿及其在智慧黄河中的应用问题。
会议开幕式由宁夏大学数学统计学院刘国军教授主持,邀请宁夏电子学会秘书长刘富祥教授致开幕词。正值宁夏黄河流域高质量发展迈向新阶段之际,刘富祥教授向大家介绍了黄河对国家,特别是对宁夏的深远影响,对从事智能优化方法研究的青年学者寄予厚望,鼓励青年学者学习好新一代智能优化方法并将其很好地应用于智慧黄河的相关工作中。
本次会议共进行了15场精彩的学术报告,来自智能最优化及“智慧黄河”相关领域的各位专家从多方面讨论了新一代智能最优化方法及其在“智慧黄河”中的应用问题,为参会者提供了丰富精彩的学术盛宴。
本次会议旨在汇聚国内特别是宁夏地区青年学者和研究生,研讨新一代智能最优化方法及其在“智慧黄河”中的应用前沿问题,交流相关领域最新学术成果及进展,搭建科学研究与学科发展平台,关心黄河宁夏段高质量发展并提供理论参考。

2021年11月26-27日,由上海大学张量与矩阵理论国际研究中心(IRCTMT)、韩国成均馆大学应用代数与优化研究中心(AORC)、海南师范大学、桂林电子科技大学、海南数学会、中国高等教育学会教育数学专业委员会联合主办的“2021 China-Korea-USA International Conference on Matrix Theory (2021中韩美矩阵论国际会议)”和“The 6th International Conference on Matrix Equations and Matrix Inequalitieswith Applications(第六届矩阵方程与矩阵不等式及其应用国际会议)”在线上成功召开。来自中国、韩国、美国、加拿大、新加坡、巴西、塞尔维亚、伊朗等8个国家以及香港地区的近200位专家学者出席大会。
大会于26日上午8:10开幕。开幕式由海南师范大学数学与统计学院教师符小惠博士主持,上海大学张量与矩阵理论国际研究中心(IRCTMT)主任、上海领军人才王卿文教授致欢迎辞,韩国成均馆大学应用代数和优化研究中心主任Gi-Sang Cheon教授、美国内华达大学里诺分校数学与统计系系主任Tin-Yau Tam教授、海南师范大学副校长陈险峰教授、海南师范大学数学与统计学院党委书记李春教授分别发表了热情洋溢的讲话。
大会有54位专家学者做了精彩的学术报告。新加坡国立大学Delin Chu教授和巴西科学院院士Jinyun Yuan教授分别作了40分钟的大会主旨报告。美国爱荷华州立大学Yiu-Tung Poon教授,美国诺瓦东南大学助理教授Lei Cao,美国内华达大学里诺分校数学与统计系系主任Tin-Yau Tam教授,美国佐治亚州立大学Zhongshan Li教授,加拿大曼尼托巴大学Yang Zhang教授,韩国成均馆大学Gi-Sang Cheon教授,伊朗数学会会长M. S. Moslehian教授,塞尔维亚尼斯大学Dragana教授,香港浸会大学Rencang Li教授等著名数学家作了精彩的报告。 这些报告充分反映了“矩阵论”科研工作者在学科前沿、交叉领域所取得的重要研究进展。参加会议的师生发言踊跃,交流思想,分享心得。大会于27日中午12点圆满落幕。
这次盛会使与会者们进一步加深了对于矩阵论在信号处理、计算数学、张量力量、系统控制、图像处理、图论、量子信息理论、组合数学等领域的应用前沿研究状况和最新研究成果的了解,对于进一步促进上海大学与国内外同行之间的交流与合作起到了积极的作用。

This advanced short course is primarily designed for PhD students and post-doctoral researchers in applied mathematics, scientific computing, computational physics and computational mechanics.
Summary: The course consists in a structured intensive one-week programme of 40 hours of theoretical lectures and computer laboratory exercises on advanced numerical methods for hyperbolic partial differential equations with applications in engineering and science. The course covers high order finite volume and discontinuous Galerkin methods, also on unstructured triangular simplex meshes; Riemann solvers, higher order TVD, ENO and WENO schemes, the discretization of hyperbolic PDE with non-conservative products, well balanced schemes as well as meshless Lagrangian particle methods. The lectures are supplemented with many computer laboratory exercises to provide practical hands-on experience concerning the practical aspects of the implementation of these advanced numerical methods.

作者简介:男,1963年3月生。1984年在南京大学数学系获学士学位,1987年在南京大学数学系获硕士学位,1990年在中国科学院计算数学与科学工程计算研究所获博士学位。1990年至今在东南大学数学学院任教。1994年12月起任副教授,1998年4月起任教授,2004年7月起任博士生导师。专业为计算数学与科学工程计算。研究方向为偏微分方程数值解法中的差分方法理论。
