2022年8月，中国工业与应用数学学会旗舰会刊《CSIAM Transactions on Applied Mathematics》（CSIAM-AM）正式上线发行2022年第三期。

CSIAM-AM于2020年4月正式创刊，由中国工业与应用数学学会与香港环球科学出版社合作出版，在每年的2月、5月、8月、11月出版，为英文季刊。中国工业与应用数学学会理事长、北京大学副校长张平文院士担任主编，中国工业与应用数学学会副理事长、浙江大学求是讲席教授包刚担任总编辑。

CSIAM-AM的目标是为读者提供应用数学、计算数学或科学计算有关的原创性文章或高质量评论，强调数学在推动现代科学技术发展中的关键作用。目前，大数据和人工智能的快速发展极大地拓展了应用数学的应用范围，也给应用数学带来了前所未有的机遇和挑战，大家对应用数学相关研究成果交流与共享平台的需求愈发强烈，该期刊正是在如此关键的时刻应运而生。

2021年7月，在创刊一年多以后，CSIAM-AM被认定为“中国数学领域高质量科技期刊分级目录”应用数学类T1级，即该类别的最高级，这充分体现了CSIAM会刊的学术权威性和学界影响力。2022年3月，CSIAM-AM向着成为国内一流、世界领先的应用数学刊物的目标进一步迈进，成功被ESCI（Emerging Sources Citation Index）收录，这是会刊发展的又一里程碑。
