Applied Mathematics Seminars for HKSIAM and Hong Kong Universities, initiated by the math department of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), aim to bring together prominent scholars from all over the world in a virtual environment. In alliance with our local counterparts at CUHK, CityU, HKU, HKUST and PolyU, we continue to strike for intellectual exchanges amid these difficult times of COVID-19.
The topics of the seminars will mainly focus on but not limited to the following aspects of applied mathematics: data science, statistics, scientific computation, and optimization.
