The School of Mathematical Sciences of Nankai University, Chern Institute ofMathematics and Beijing Computational Science Research Centre will jointly host the 2011 International Conference on Applied Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Research in Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University, Tianjin, during June 13-15, 2011 and continue on in Beijing Computational Science Research Center on June 16, 2011. The objective of the conference is to bring together leading researchers in applied mathematics, computational sciences, physical and biological sciences as well as engineering to showcase the state of art interdisciplinary research and discuss new directions in the increasingly important research paradigm.
