Workshop on Computational Problems in Materials Science

The third workshop on computational problems in materials science will be held at Wuhan University. The first workshop in July 2009 at Peking University and second workshop in August 2010 at Suzhou University resulted in the great attention to theproblems of multiple scale and of multi-disciplinary. The third workshop will bringleading scientists in mechanics, physics and chemistry together for future academic exchanges.


The themes of the workshop cover computational and mathematical problems arising from material sciences and related areas. Recent developments in these areas will be surveyed and future trends will be discussed to foster collaborations of scientists from various disciplines.
