This workshop addresses electrostatic interactions in condensed matter and biological systems with focus on 
1) Experimental observations of nonmean field behaviors in colloidal and biological systems; 
2) Concepts and theories beyond Poisson-Boltzmann; 
3) Efficient computational methods. In addition to research talks by scientists of different disciplines, a summer school will be held for graduate students and young researchers.
