Data contains science. However, data science has a different approach than that of classical mathematics, which uses mathematical models to fit data and to extract information. Moreover, some mathematical and statistical tools are expect to find some fundamental principle behind the data.

Today, our goal is to find rules and properties of the data set and among different data sets---the relationship of connectivity between data sets. The new research would be more likely to include partial and incomplete connectivity, which is also a hot topic in the current research of social networks.

ICM 2014 Satellite Conference on Data Sciences will be held in Dalian, China, during July 27th - August 1st. The purpose of this conference is to bring together mathematicians, computer scientists, and industry professionals to discuss the future of modern data sciences, which has recently been driven tremendously by BigData and cloud computing.

The structure of conference will consist of 11 plenary talks and 4 invited talks. Please look in for more details about topics of interest, registration information,program,etc.
