This conference aims to bring together mathematical scientists with interests in the theory, numerics and applications of free boundary problems and discuss recent significant advances and current trends/directions in free boundary problems and related topics. There will also be three satellite conferences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai,Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing , and City University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong.
There will be a Summer School (2017 International Summer School on Free boundary problems: Theory and Applications) during the period from July 2 to July 8, 2017, which is right before the conference.
There will be three mini courses, each with lectures, aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and early career researchers by Mikhail Feldman (University of Wisconsin, Madison) Monica Torres (Purdue University)

Local accommodation will be provided for graduate students and selected young researchers to participate both the summer school and the conference.
