We are organizing a one week summer school on "Finite Element Methods in Scientific and Engineering Computing" at Beijing Computational Science Research Center (CSRC),May 21-25, 2018.

The program is aimed at finite element methods with efficient implementation in modern open source FEM libraries as well as FEM software development. The main speaker is Prof. Wolfgang Bangerth from Colorado State University, the founding author of deal.II FEM software. More details can be found at

This is a training course for China Academy of Engineering Physics. Students and junior researchers from other institutes are also welcome, however, there will be registration fee 600￥ and they should take care of their own lodging and transportation.
