Scientific Machine Learning is a rapidly evolving field of research that combines and further develops techniques of scientific computing and machine learning. This CDS workshop aims at the discussion of the latest results in the analysis and development of algorithms as well as their application to problems from computational science and engineering. It will bring together mathematicians, computer scientists, and domain scientists.
Topics include but are not restricted to Physics-informed machine learning; Mathematics-informed machine learning; Machine learning enhanced simulations; Hybrid modeling (machine learning + first principle modeling).
Invited Speakers:
Xiao-Chuan Cai (University of Colorado Boulder)
Eric Chung (The Chinese University of Hong Kong)
Eric Cyr (Sandia National Laboratories)
Jan Hesthaven (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne)
Registration starts October 21, 2019 and ends December 1, 2019.
