The present paper is concerned with the global C²-estimates of solutions to boundary value problems for degenerate elliptic. Monge-Ampere equations. Both of degeneracies of the boundary data and the right hand side of the equation are considered. In two dimensional case a result about smooth solutions is also contained.

We present some general methods for the estimation of the local Hausdorff measure of nodal sets of solutions to elliptic and parabolic equations. Our main results (Theorems 3.1 and 4.1) improve previous results of Lin Fanghua in [1].

This paper considers the Cauchy problem for nonstrictly hyperbolic systems u_t + \frac{1}{2}(au² + v²)_x = 0, v_t + (uv)_x = 0 and gives the Hölder continuous solutions under some stronger restrictions of data by applying the method of vanishing viscosity, where a > 2 is a constant.

In this paper, we study the Cauchy problems u_t = Δu^m \quad u(x, 0) = μ and u_t = Δu^m - u^p \quad u(x, 0) = μ where p > 0, m > (1 - \frac{α}{n})^+ and μ is a finite Radon measure. We prove the uniqueness of solution and the existence of solution.

We consider the problem of an irrotational and incompressible flow around a body in space. The basic existence is proved by formulating the problem into a variational problem. We also show that the solution is unique, and the maximum speed is attained on the body's boundary.

Delay parabolic problems have been studied by many authors. Some authors investigated more general delay problem (refer to [1], [2]), some investigated concrete delay partial differential equations. Recently, we have done some work on delay parabolic problem. We discussed semilinear parabolic delay problem and obtained some results on the existence of solutions. In particular the results on existence of periodic solutions are characteristic (see [3], [4], [5], [6]). The purpose of this paper is to study delay equation with quasilinear perturbation. We present the existence of global and periodic solutions of abstract evolution equations in Section 2. The abstract results are used to obtain the existence of global and periodic solutions of delay parabolic problem with quasilinear perturbation in Section 3. We make preparation for our investigation and give a generalization of Gronwall inequality (Lemma 1.3) which is used in next section.

In this paper, we give all equivalence classes of irreducible unitary representations for the group H_n ⊗ R^m thereby formulate the Fourier transform on H_n ⊗ R^m (n ≥ 0, m ≥ 0}, which naturally unifies the Fourier transform between the Euclidean group and the Heisenberg group, more generally, between Abelian groups and two-step nilpotent Lie groups. Moreover, by the Plancberel formula for H_n ⊗ R^m we produce the Weyl symbol association with functions of the harmonic oscillator so that to derive the heat kernel on H_n ⊗ R^m.
